It's more of a crystallized powder, so it dissolves easy and doesn't clump up like some protein powders. It's unflavored so you can mix it in anything. I use it for breakfast shakes or if I'm in a hurry, I just drop a scoop in my coffee. It dissolves and blends right in. One note: it previously came with a plastic scoop but no longer does. I assume the brand is trying to reduce plastic, so you'll just have to use a spoon at home.
